Not sure whether sailing is for you? Don’t want to commit to a course? Why not join one of our experienced sailors for a taster session in their boat so you can get an idea of what it’s like to be out on the water. This can be arranged at any time, just get in touch on the form below and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
RYA Learn to Sail Courses
Get experience, get confident.
If you want to gain some experience to be out on the water safely and confidently, then sign up for our Learn to Sail courses. We offer a range of RYA accredited courses for both adults and children. Learn everything you need from rigging and launching your boat, through to returning safely to shore. Once you’ve passed, you will be safety conscious, have a basic knowledge of sailing, and be capable of sailing a dinghy without an instructor on board in light winds. The only equipment you will need is a wetsuit and some trainers that you don’t mind getting we (or wetsuit shoes).

Adults
Adult Basic Skills – Levels 1, 2 (5-Days)
Trainee Family Membership = £75
Training = £175
Total Cost for 5 day Course = £250
Adult Improver – Level 3 (Cost TBC)
Children
Youth Basic Skills – Youth Levels 1-4
Trainee Family Membership = £75
Training =£90 (6 morning sessions)
Total Cost for 6 morning course = £165
